A resort is a running cost as well as a building. At Aqua Palms that cost keeps a gym, a spa, a restaurant, a swimming pool, housekeeping, a reception desk and 24/7 security going. At Aqua Infinity it covers the integrated services across roughly 340 apartments. Somebody pays for that, and on a resort development that somebody is the owners.

What we publish today

Studio Aqua Palms

The listing states it plainly: maintenance fees are required, and they are paid together with the purchase price. So the cash you need at purchase is the €27,900 plus the fee — ask the office for that figure before you budget.

Every other listed unit

Where a specific arrangement applies to a unit, we put it on that unit's listing. Where a listing says nothing about maintenance, that is not a promise that there is no fee — it means the arrangement is not published, and you should ask.

If a fee arrangement is not written on the listing, treat it as a question, not an assumption.

Five questions to ask before you sign

  • What is the annual amount for this specific unit, in euro?
  • What does it cover — and what is billed separately?
  • How and when is it revised?
  • When is the first payment due, and is any period already paid?
  • What happens to the arrangement if you sell the unit on?

An honest note

We do not publish a company-wide maintenance schedule on this site, and we would rather say so than let you infer one. The figures are given per unit by the sales office. If you are comparing two units, ask for both in writing and compare them side by side — the difference over ten years of ownership can be larger than the difference in the purchase price.
